Tequila Lime Shrimp

  • 1 bag of shrimp
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 cup of Corona beer
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 fresh lime
  • 1 chopped jalapeno
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  1. Combine all ingredients into a large Ziploc bag (except for the fresh lime, we’ll use this as we cook) and marinate for 12 hours.
  2. When ready to cook, heat your cast iron skillet to medium heat and toss in a drizzle of EVOO.
  3. Pour in shrimp and some of the marinade to cook.
  4. Cook over medium high heat, using the marinade to baste the shrimp. Squeeze half of a fresh lime over the skillet too.
  5. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lime and enjoy.
